The Summer Evolutionary Somatics was born…
There are moments in a life when the visible world and the invisible world briefly touch.
For me, that moment arrived in the summer of 2005.
By then, I had spent nearly a decade studying with shamans, energy workers, plant medicine guides and immersing myself in practices rooted in breath, embodiment, intuition, movement, and altered states of awareness.
Earlier, in my unconventional journey, 2001, I graduated from the Arizona School of Integrative Studies, in Cottonwood, Arizona with a degree in massage, bodywork and hydrotherapy. The years that followed became a period of deep integration - studying anatomy, fitness, kinesiology, corrective movement, and nervous system patterning through organizations such as NASM and the CHEK Institute, while continuing to explore the relationship between structure, emotion, perception, and embodied awareness. I was searching for ways to ground intuitive understanding within the intelligence of the body itself.
I was less interested in performance than in presence - less interested in pathology than in what happens when a human being becomes deeply attuned to themselves.
That summer I entered a workshop called Evolutionary Somatics, led by some of the great pioneers of embodied consciousness: Deane Juhan, Emilie Conrad of Continuum, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Dietrich Klinghardt, all whose work explored the body not as machinery, but as living intelligence.
Their teachings revealed something I had long sensed intuitively: the body carries biography, memory, emotion, adaptation, and unspoken story. Every gesture is a language. Every pattern has meaning. Beneath strategy and identity lives the nervous system - shaping perception, communication, creativity, leadership, conflict, resilience, and trust.
At the same time, I began working with my first Grammy Award–winning recording artist.
The night before our first session, I had a dream about his late father. In the dream, the man communicated where his son was carrying pain in his body, where attention was needed, and what needed to change. The next day, during the session, I followed what had come through intuitively.
The guidance was precise.
What struck me was not simply that the information was accurate. It was that the body had revealed a story the conscious mind could not yet articulate. That experience altered my understanding of healing, communication, and human potential forever.
The body does not lie.
It compensates. It adapts. It protects. It remembers.
And often, beneath burnout, conflict, anxiety, creative blockage, or leadership fatigue, there exists an unexamined somatic pattern quietly shaping behavior and organizational culture from underneath the surface.
That same summer, I began mentoring with Patrick Collard, a masterful body language and nonverbal communication expert. Through his work, I deepened my understanding of the hidden architecture beneath human interaction - how posture, gesture, breath, facial expression, and nervous system states silently influence trust, authority, collaboration, and perception.
I began to see that organizations function much like bodies do.
Teams breathe together or they constrict. Cultures regulate or dysregulate. Leaders transmit emotional states long before they speak. Every system reveals itself through patterns of tension, movement, communication, and adaptation.
In organizations, I help identify the hidden somatic and relational patterns influencing communication, trust, burnout, creativity, leadership presence, and decision-making. My work helps teams move from chronic reactivity into greater coherence, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and embodied alignment.
In private sessions, I help people listen to the intelligence of the body itself through intuitive bodywork, breathwork, movement, and somatic inquiry - recognizing and reorganizing the subconscious patterns shaping perception, behavior, creativity, relationships, and embodied presence. The work is not simply about insight, but about creating new internal conditions for alignment, resilience, and transformation.
The following year, I entered my first Rebirthing Breathwork training at the Philadelphia Rebirthing Center with Tony LoMastro and Maureen Malone. Breath became another profound teacher - revealing how emotion, memory, fear, creativity, grief, and transformation move through the body in waves, rhythms, and unfinished cycles.
By then, I understood that I was not building a conventional wellness practice.
I was developing an integrative framework for human transformation.
I renamed my corporation Evolutionary Somatics because the work was never solely about healing symptoms. It was about evolution: the evolution of awareness, leadership, communication, creativity, emotional intelligence, and embodied presence.
My work today draws from that lineage.
I work with individuals, executives, creatives, founders, and teams to identify the unseen dynamics shaping performance and relational culture beneath the surface. Through breathwork, somatic awareness, intuitive pattern recognition, movement, nervous system regulation, and embodied communication, I help people access deeper coherence - within themselves and with one another.
Because sustainable leadership does not emerge from force alone.
It emerges from alignment.
From the capacity to listen beneath noise.
To recognize what the body already knows.
To understand that transformation is not merely cognitive - it is physiological, relational, emotional, and deeply human.
Looking back now, I can see that summer clearly.
It was the beginning of a lifelong inquiry into what becomes possible when human beings learn to inhabit themselves fully not only as thinkers, but as living systems capable of intuition, connection, creativity, and profound change.
